2012 Morbark Beever M15R
A true workhorse in the Morbark lineup, the Beever M15R is a 15" capacity, extreme duty brush chipper. With a 30" diameter chipping drum, and 4 knives, the chipper is able to chip primarily with the grain of the material, allowing for more efficient, consistent chipping. Compared to our competitors who use larger diameter drums in their 13-15" machines, the advantage of the 30" drum is recovery time after the machine has been loaded down. It takes less fuel and horsepower to spin the drum back up to chipping RPM, saving both time and money in the long run. Variable speed flow control gives the operator the ability to slow the rate at which the machine feeds material. A slower feeding rate allows for a more controlled and continue chipping rate with larger material. As is standard with all Morbark machines, a programmable reversing auto-feed system enables to user to tailor the chipping characteristics to their needs. Set the RPM threshold wider for brushy limbs and tops, or narrower for larger diameter material. Whatever way you like it, the Morbark Beever M15R is a machine ready to tackle it all. One of the biggest and baddest chipper's in the Morbark lineup, the M18R is for serious brush and tree chipping. Designed with an enormous in-feed and throat opening, material up to 18" in diameter is easily processed by the Beever M18R. A 37" diameter chipping drum, with 4 knives, carries a huge amount of momentum and allows the machine to continuously chip material with very little input from the auto-feed system. Built with the lighter engine option, the unit is powered by CAT C4.4
142HP diesel to keep the machine weight in check, while still enabling it to chip through material with ease.
